We designed and implemented this app for US company GeoVector, a proof of concept to showcase some of the patents they hold in the area of "pointing" and direction-based searching. The app sources data from a variety of APIs and presents results based on keyword relevance, proximity to the user, and (optionally on 3GS phones) the user's direction as well.
